Medical & Dental Benefits
Permanent full-time employees are entitled to participate in the company’s standard health care plan, provided by Blue Cross/Blue Shield, offering medical, dental, prescription and some vision coverage. Participation in this PPO plan allows employees to go to doctors either within or outside of the Blue Cross/Blue Shield network. Eligibility to participate occurs on the first of the month after working a complete month with the company.
Health & Dependent Flexible Spending Accounts
ACI offers participation in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plan to all full-time employees.
A Health Care FSA (HCFSA) is a pre-tax benefit account that’s used to pay for eligible medical, dental, and vision care expenses that are not covered by your health care plan or elsewhere. With an HCFSA, you use pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified out-of-pocket health care expenses.
Long-Term Disability
Serious illnesses or accidents can come out of nowhere. They can interrupt your life, and your ability to work for months ─ even years. ACI’s long term disability can pay up to 60% of your income, so you have financial support to manage your disability and your household.
Short-Term Disability
Everyday illnesses or injuries can interfere with your ability to work. Even a few weeks away from work can make it difficult to manage household costs. ACI’s Short term disability coverage can pay up to 60% of your income, so you can focus on getting better, and worry less about keeping up with your bills.
Compensation
Employees receive performance evaluations on an annual basis on the employee’s anniversary date of hire. Annual performance evaluations are considered in determining salary increases and promotions.
401(K) PLAN
ACI offers a 401(k) plan for all eligible employees. There are several advantages to a 401(k) plan. First, since the employee is allowed to contribute to his/her 401(k) with pre-tax money, it reduces the amount of tax paid out of each pay check. Second, the employee can decide where to direct future contributions and/or current savings, giving much control over the investments to the employee. Third, unlike a pension, all contributions can be moved from one company’s plan to the next company’s plan, or a special IRA, should a participant change jobs. Finally, because the program is a personal investment program for the participant’s retirement, it is protected by pension (ERISA) laws, which means that benefits may not be used as security for loans outside the program.
Life Insurance
ACI provides life insurance at no cost to the employee effective the first of the month following the date of employment.
Personal Leave
ACI offers very competitive Paid Time Off (PTO) plans which are specific to each project. Our average project provides regular full-time employees with 17 days of personal leave in the first year.
Recognized Holidays
Permanent full-time employees are entitled to ten paid holidays per year. The following holidays are observed by ACI:
